# Set up Pneumail

You are an agent setting up Pneumail for the person you work with. Pneumail sends opt-in email (newsletters,
product updates, sequences) from their own domain through Amazon SES. It is in early access.

## What works today

1. Ask the person to open https://app.pneumail.com and sign in. Their first sign-in creates a sandbox workspace.
   A sandbox sends every email to the Amazon SES mailbox simulator, so nothing reaches a real inbox.
2. Read the docs at https://docs.pneumail.com/llms.txt to learn the product, the API shape and the rules.

## Coming next

The CLI (`pneumail`), device-code login and the MCP server are being built. When they ship, this page will tell you
to install the CLI, run `pneumail login`, add the MCP server to your config and run `pneumail whoami`.

## Rules you must follow

- Pneumail is for people who asked for email. Never import a list without a consent source. Never send cold outreach.
- Sends you schedule wait for a person to approve them, unless your key has the send:auto scope.
